Symbology Story
THE HIGH PRIESTESS
The high priestess is believed to signify the eternal cycle of birth, life and rebirth, and is linked to Persephone, who is said to be the embodiment of the cycle itself.
Symbolized by the triple moon symbol, the 3 stages of the moon are depicted as waxing, representing expansion, waning, representing contraction and the full moon, representing the final outcome.
Since the moon is symbolic of sacred femininity, these cycles can be linked to the cycle of womanhood. The first crescent moon represents the maiden, the full moon represents the mother and the third moon represents the crone, while all three are symbolic of divine feminine power. This power is wielded into our personal history, memories and impressions, and is combined with our common sense, foresight, intuition and wisdom.
The high priestess is an embodiment of creative energy, and serves as a guardian of the unconscious, holding all the secrets of the universe, including the seen and unseen. The time has come to start acknowledging divine messaging, by listening to your inner voice, and paying attention to anything you see, smell, hear, taste or feel.
Impregnated in the full moon or mother is the zodiac sign of Capricorn, where the great planetary conjunction took place at the start of 2020 between Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter. This conjunction triggered an acceleration in the trajectory of the planet, and this accelerated change brought with it the birth of Chittons.
Symbolic of marking a point in time, the symbol holds the numbers 7 and 6, appearing as if merged into one, and brings with it the power of numerology to represent the energies of 7, being spiritual awakening and 6 being unconditional love and service to others. Together, these numbers represent a 4, symbolic of making the journey home. This is the story of the journey we find ourselves on today.
This symbol urges us to trust ourselves. It reminds us of our self-worth but also the need for introspection, as all the answers we seek lie within us.
