Symbology Story

PRECESSION OF EQUINOXES

WHAT IS IT?

Cosmically, the precession of the equinoxes refers to the movement of the earth’s axis of rotation against the backdrop of the sky as seen from Earth. The positions of the north and south celestial poles appear from Earth to move in circles against a “fixed” backdrop of stars.

As explained in Chapter 2 (Ascension Relative to Time and Space), as one watches the sun rise each day of the spring equinox from Earth, it’s position appears to move anti-clockwise slowly due to the shift in Earth’s position relative to the stars. One full shift of the sun through all the 12 signs takes 24,000-26,000 years, constituting one cycle of the precession of the equinoxes. Based on these shifts in the Earth, the order of the constellations for the first half of the precession cycle (the first 12,000-13,000 years) runs from the constellation of Leo to the constellation of Pisces, which can be considered as the “Kingdom of the physical world”. The second half of the precession starts from the constellation of Aquarius and finishes at the constellation of Virgo, which can be considered as the “Kingdom of the non-physical world”. Our current placement in this cycle marks our alignment with the galactic center and the most pinnacle point in the cycle, a shift not only from one zodiac sign to the next, but from the Kingdom of the Physical to the Kingdom of the Non-physical. In this shift, the planet and all its inhabitants are becoming less dense as we ascend. As we move through this gateway, it marks an evolutionary progression of humanities consciousness expansion on earth. It is a journey of our consciousness through space and time and the marker of our ascension from one dimension or frequency to another. This shift in humanity’s consciousness has been predicted for thousands of years by ancient civilizations and communicated to us through ancient texts, philosophies, architecture, paintings and systems such as astrology, to name a few.

HOW DOES IT AFFECT US?

As we move through the precession of the equinoxes, and become less dense, there is less resistance to manifestation. Manifestations based on prior thoughts, words and actions are appearing around us a lot quicker than what we have seen in the past. It brings with it an energy of inevitability. The Precession of the Equinoxes symbol is reminding us to be conscious and discern which thoughts, words and actions we want to manifest and focus on those. This is an ancient concept of the Universal Law of Attraction. In a nut shell, the Law of Attraction (and all the other laws) has become more powerful due to the lower density of the energies in and around us. It is time to discern what is good for you, and to focus on that. By constantly practicing this focus of your consciousness, eventually, so it is.

THE PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOXES SYMBOL

The Precession of the Equinoxes symbol was designed based on a cocktail of energies found embodied in the ancient Khanda symbol, and the Chi Rho symbol containing the Alpha Omega cross, but with feathers instead of blades. The incorporation of the Yin Yang styled color contrast highlights the need to maintain the balance between opposing forces, with each containing a little of the other within. Together these two dual forces in unity represent harmony and an interconnectedness of all things. Embedded within the design is also a symbol for the planet of Pluto, the planet that initiates the death, transformation and rebirth process that we must all go through on this journey.

The symbol is placed over an area of the body where all yang energies meet. In Traditional Chinese medicine, this point is known as DU-14, a point on the channel of the “Governing Vessel”, a channel known as the “sea of the yang”. This significant concentration of yang energies immediately below the 7th cervical vertebra make it a good pressure point to combat loss of too many body fluids through excessive sweating, helps to overcome heat in the bones, improves strength, aids in breathing, and is known to help with “pain of the hundred joints”, stiffness of the spine and neck, and insomnia.

You are standing by the gateway. It is time to take your first step through it and discern which thoughts and actions will lead to the life you have been dreaming of.
